Messages from Nancy
Nancy in Singapore
So I got a few text messages from Nancy on my cell phone this morning. I’d like to think I am the only one, but I suspect she sent them to others as well. But since I know not everyone has cell phones and may not have gotten the messages, I’m going to reprint them here:
The doctor was just here he showed me my after surgery xrays. He did such a nice job. There are tiny plates and srews in three places. I can shower tomorrow.
Yeah! I am also checking out sometime tomorrow. Hopefully, I can try and slavage the rest of our holiday on this beautiful island. Thanks 4 all or your prayers and wishes.

Thanks to you and all the Marcotte girls for keeping us in the loop about our friend Nancy. I just returned from a week at the beach myself, and this confirms my decision to NOT try my hand at surfing…….
I hope Nancy’s recovery continues to go smoothly and she is able to enjoy what’s left of her trip relatively pain free. Tell her to send pictures (scenery of course) so we can continue to live vicariously through all her adventures!

I just want you to know I am thinking of you and so glad all went well for you - there is never a dull moment with any of us lately!!!!!!!!! I told the girls at coffee this am so some of them know - I will try to get an e-mail out to the rest of them. I appreciate the chance to say hello.

Thanks for sharing the “good” news about our Nancy. I am so glad that she will be well soon and as good as new. Somehow, I am not surprised about the adventure. She knows how to live life. I will look forward to seeing her when she comes back to the good ole USA. Love to her.
