Anya, Fun things to do, John, Patti
Bodega Bay Trip
We took a long weekend trip to Bodega Bay. Anya got to go back to the first beach she’d ever been to (at 6 months old.) We played in the sand and had a great time. Here are some photos of our adventures.

Looks like a great time was had by all!

We had a great time. The “beachhouseview” photo (#13) was the view out of our window at the house we rented. It was amazing, and the view was only occasionally obscured by old white guys in plaid pants.
Anya loved the beach. The first day we were attacked by sand flies, though. They don’t actually do anything, but they swarmed all over us and were generally annoying. So we moved to a beach that was made out of pebbles. That was much better, although Anya’s sand toys didn’t work as well, she enjoyed finding pretty rocks and putting them in her bucket.
John & Cakes,
Where is this and how much is it to rent a house? How much in summer do they go up in price?
Katie
Bodega Bay is an hour or so north of San Francisco. Renting a house ranges from $400-$1000+ for a weekend, depending on size and location.
They don’t raise the price in the summer, but in the off-season, you get an extra night free.
